Waiting for you is the hardest and most beautiful thing I've ever done.
When you contact me about your pregnancy shoot, I like to get to know you and find out what journey you are on. Is this your first child? If not, how many older children do you have? Do you have any pets? If so, would you like them to be a part of your session? Do you know the gender? Will you be finding out or do you want to keep it a surprise? I want to learn about your family dynamic and if you want to do something unique with this maternity shoot or if you want it as a casual keepsake of this part of your journey. I want you and your family to feel comfortable and true to your characters when coming for the photoshoot. If you are someone that would like suggestions on what to wear and how to dress the family, I would be more than happy to give you some suggestions, I also have some pinterest favorites under my FAQs section for you to reference. On the day of the maternity session, I will meet at our location and start shooting. I like to feel our my clients for any nerves and will navigate the shoot accordingly so that if a sibling is not comfortable with me, I try to focus more on the mom to be and wait for them to warm up. I love lifestyle photography so I try to focus on as many non-posed organic moments as I can get, but still make sure that I get those posed "safe shots" for Grandma.
